Speeds & RPM & fuel burn | Cruise speed is 15-16kts at 2400rpm. The two engines were originally rated at 380hp – each engine (at 3300 rpm). Their continuous rating was originally 3000rpm, however, Gough Bros, Invercargill diesel engineers de-rated each motor back to 2800 rpm. At their original rating of 3300 rpm they give to the boat 27 kts. |
